Coach Ferrari’s first graders got a hands-on lesson in why good hygiene never goes out of style! Students jumped right into the fun—getting a little “dirty,” checking out pretend germs under a black light, then heading to the sinks to scrub like pros. The big reveal came during the re-inspection, where they could see just how well their hand-washing skills held up.

As the district continues planning for the transition to the new Rosewood Magnet campus at Storm Grove, we are exploring transportation options to best support our families. One proposal under consideration is to use the existing Rosewood campus as a bus depot location for morning drop-off, afternoon pick-up, and extended day programming.

Under this proposal:

Morning Drop-Off: Families could drop students off at the current Rosewood campus between 7:00–7:25 AM. Adult supervision would be provided during this time.

The bus would depart the current Rosewood campus at 7:30 AM and travel to the new campus at Storm Grove, arriving in time for the proposed 8:10 AM start time.

Afternoon Pick-Up: The bus would depart the new Rosewood campus at Storm Grove at the proposed dismissal time of 2:51 PM and return to the existing Rosewood campus for family pick-up.

An extended day program would be available for enrolled students at the existing Rosewood campus at regular extended day rates if needed.

Please note, families who opt to use this transportation service would need to commit to this option on a regular basis. Daily transportation changes would need to be limited to extenuating circumstances, as the school office will be unable to accommodate multiple transportation changes each day.

At this time, this plan is only a proposal, and the district is gathering data on the number of families who may be interested in utilizing this option.

If your family would likely take advantage of this proposed transportation plan, please complete the brief interest form below by November 20th.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback as we plan for a smooth and successful transition to our new campus.

In Ms. Polverari’s media class, students learned about Veterans Day and the importance of honoring those who served. After reading Veterans: Heroes in Our Neighborhood, students chose from several creative ways to show their gratitude—building flags with LEGOs, making red, white, and blue paper chains, or designing mini posters featuring American symbols and thank-you messages for our veterans. 🇺🇸❤️💙
