In the media center, Ms. Polverari’s K–2 classes combined reading and science! Students explored nonfiction texts about pumpkins, studied their life cycle, practiced comparing and ordering, and applied their learning through hands-on experiments with density and buoyancy. 🎃






Ms. Davidson’s 5th graders kicked off their poetry unit today! After exploring apostrophe poems, students put their understanding of stanzas into action by writing and sharing their own creative verses with classmates. ✍️📖


Ms. Beal's 3rd grade readers were all smiles today! 📚💕 They loved partner reading and diving into their animal unit—so many fun discoveries and great discussions!

When the playground floods, imagination takes the lead! 🌧️ Ms. Lewis’s Kindergarten students are turning indoor recess into a rainy-day adventure.





Exploring history hands-on! Ms. Gray’s 2nd graders studied the world of Sparta and Ancient Greece, then brought the past to life by designing their own warrior helmets. 🏛️✨







Classroom jobs are serious business in Ms. Zehr’s 1st grade class and her future workforce is already in training! Today, one student job shadowed a classmate as the morning greeter. 💚🐾


Ms. Porter’s 4th graders practiced division the hands-on way — using counters to model their work and teaming up with partners to problem-solve together!







🍋 Ms. Woodson’s students put their five senses to the test with “The Lemon Test!” A sweet way to explore how we see, smell, taste, hear, and touch the world!
