In the media center, Ms. Polverari’s classes explored December holidays from around the world and the traditions that make them meaningful. Our Panthers rotated through five KEVA Plank challenges, working together to design and build symbols representing each celebration. A little global learning, a little engineering, and just the right amount of festive fun—tradition meets creativity at its finest.

In Ms. Zwemer’s rotation, students put their engineering hats on and set out to build the tallest tree—testing balance, teamwork, and a little old-fashioned trial and error. Sturdy roots, soaring branches, and minds reaching even higher. That’s how learning grows.

Fifth grade recently finished reading Don Quixote, and while the windmills may be behind them, the thinking certainly isn’t. At the end of the novel, Don Quixote dies and Samson Carrasco pens his epitaph. Using that moment as inspiration, students in Ms. Davidson’s class dug into Don Quixote’s character traits and wrote their own epitaphs to honor the Knight of the Woeful Countenance.
Our 2nd grade students delivered a delightful performance of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas under the direction of Ms. Palmer. Their hard work, confidence, and holiday spirit truly shined—proof that a classic never goes out of style, especially when young voices bring it to life. 🎄✨

After reading The Gingerbread Man, students worked in collaborative groups to design and build bridges that could get him safely across the river—proving that a good story still pairs nicely with good old-fashioned problem-solving.

Our staff jumped into spirited Reindeer Games this afternoon, clearing out classroom items that have served us well and are ready to retire—just in time for our upcoming move. A little friendly fun worthy of Santa’s approval. 🎄📦
Our elves have been assisting Santa with our Angel Tree to help ensure a merry holiday season for several of our students. Thanks to their kindness and the generosity of our staff, a little extra magic is making its way into many homes this season. 🥰

Our PTA hosted the most pawsome Holly Jolly Night! Families filled the campus with cheer as they enjoyed festive crafts, merry activities, and—of course—a visit from the big guy himself. Santa didn’t just stop by… he made it official: our school is proudly on the Nice List this year. Holiday spirit, community pride, and timeless traditions—what a night!
The Woot Wagon rolled in and was an instant hit! Huge thanks to our amazing PTA for spoiling the staff with treats, supplies, and all the little essentials that make the school day run smoother than a freshly sharpened No. 2 pencil.
