Ready, set, SCOOT! 🛴💨 During P.E., the hardcourt was buzzing with laughter, speed, and smiles!




📝 Ms. Napier’s 2nd graders dove into Greek myths! Students first wrote facts about their chosen character, then teamed up with classmates who had the same character to share ideas and add details to their bubble maps. Next stop: writing a paragraph all about their character! 🌟📚



Ms. Davidson introduced the RACE strategy to her students to support written responses. Using the gradual release model—I do, We do, You do—students practiced applying the strategy to three questions. After crafting their responses, they used colored pencils to highlight each component of RACE, reinforcing their understanding of how to restate, answer, cite, and explain effectively.

3rd grade students in Ms. Brown’s art classes are getting creative this week, exploring innovative painting techniques to bring their artistic visions to life! 🎨🖌️

Ms. Porter’s 4th graders were dialed in to learning today—literally! 📞 They investigated Sound Energy using good ol’-fashioned cup phones, discovering how vibrations travel through a string to make sound. Hands-on, minds-on learning at its finest! 🎶🔬

This month’s All Pro Dads gathering focused on respect—a timeless value that never goes out of style. We’re grateful for our partnership with this incredible organization and the strong role models it brings to our school community.


🎵 Ms. Palmer's 3rd graders are becoming budding musicians! They’re learning to identify instruments in the orchestra by both sight and sound — and they can already name the four instrument families: strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. Future maestros in the making! 🎶👏





🔥 October is Fire Safety Awareness Month! Ms. Woodson’s and Ms. Stone’s students are learning all about fire safety as they get ready for an exciting visit from the local fire department! 🚒
